Sure! Couple of things to keep in mind:
Make sure your graphic drivers are up-to-date, there were some problems with Radeon graphic drivers that have been fixed with the newest versions. Older game, so does not support multiple monitors or 4k/ultra-high resolutions. (I run it just fine on 1080p at highest settings.) Two programs that will halt installations and running the program - BitDefender (anti-virus) and Nahimic 2 (MSI sound program). If you have either installed, disable or uninstall them before running SimCity.
Turn off antivirus while doing the install; run install "As Administrator"; Set both Origin.exe and SimCity.exe to "Run As Administrator".
If you run into any problems, there are other tweaks to some compatibility settings that can be tried, but I had no problems installing or running the game on my i7-7700k, Windows Home 10 64-bit, version 1709.
