This is not the same problem, unless you can't get SimCity to show up in Origin on your Mac. If that's the case, the answer is the same; log in to the correct Origin account and you will see SimCity under "My Games". Make sure you haven't accidentally hidden SimCity in the list - Click the "Filter" button in the upper right-hand corner, and choose "Clear All Filters" to see all of your purchased games. 

If you can see SimCity, but it doesn't run correctly on a Mac, there is an issue the High Sierra update. There is a long post here about users experiencing the same issues. This post from  says they are working on it, but it's been quite a while since that was posted. If you read through all the posts, there are a few other suggestions, all with limited success (lower settings to low/minimum resolution, turn off automatic graphics switching, run in virtual machine, increase memory, use external monitor, use gfxCardStatus utility to force use of non-Intel GPU) but basically EA is "working on it" and no estimate on when it will be fixed.
