Re: Trouble installing

Hi  - once a code is redeemed the game is tied to the account on which it was entered. It doesn't matter if you have ever played it before. You must download & install the game from Origin on your computer.

Make sure you are logged into Origin on the same account you used when you entered the code. Look under My Games - Simcity should be listed there. Click to download the game and launch the game. 

If you just purchased a code or CD from a store or vendor, and it gives you this error even though you have never used the code yourself, you'll need to take it back and explain that the code was already used.
