Well it seems like I found the simple solution. I think all important bits required for games like save files are stored on Onedrive (for me). Downloading them directly to my pc seemed to fix the issue. Or maybe it was the reset that I made to the entire PC. Oh well, its one of the 2. What matters is that my region is not gone. Thanks for helping though. Your first sentence already gave me the idea that maybe cloud storage isn't a good idea for saves.
