Re: Cities taking FOREVER to load

I'm no tech but I'd start with your PC. Are you running a mac or PC?

startups on the PC is a must to put an end to. I let them run but it's a good idea to turn some off, if not important. Next you'd want to cleanup your computer by removing some of your temporary Internet cache and browsing history.. Doing this stops loading of the pages when connected to the Internet.

The more programs running takes up computer processing power and thus slows the time down considerably because your not able to load anything anymore. what you might want to look at is the Task Manager in the Windows PC by right clicking on the task bar at the bottom of the desktop and selecting task bar, then select performance on win 10 or processes on any other windows. your CPU list of running process should be only the game.

In the event it dosen't correct it after you stopped startups and cleaned up your pc try using your WIndows PC tools which already come with the OS. You may want to run some checks on the OS if your using a Windows PC. I would just run a check disk by opening you explore and right clicking on the drive then properties and then the tab "tools" it should say check disk. This happens to be the best way to remove any read errors and drive issues. If it's not to too technical to do for you, you might want to use the device manager in your Windows PC and check for some drivers for you drives and graphics card. These generally are free to find on the manufactures (OEM) website or just use windows drivers.

Loading of the game is probably the system operations taking up to much cpu time. Stop any unimportant things like progams your not using. Windows 10 now comes with XBOX and ONEDRIVE. these take up a lot of Internet download time and processes and drive access time. Stop the ONDRIVE by exiting it completely and don't let it start up at boot. You'll also want to stop the XBOX streaming and DVR. If you have Nvidia GPU stop the Streaming as well in the Geforce experiance app as well.

My opinion is that if everyone does the same developments then your system will have multiple programs of the same thing running at the same time. Shh what a drag on the Computer and Internet. It's best to start up a chat with any of the Microsoft answer desk  guys to resolve any questions. I bought there Assure plan and I'm telling you these guys know there stuff. I found out that the cable for my monitor was analog and that's why my monitor was not getting a digital signal. I'm using DVI analog cable for digital....WOW. I thought is was my gpu.
