Hi there,
It is not only crashing in OSX Sierra (10.13) but also in 10.11 (El Capitan).
> I connected an external display (Apple Cinema Display) before running Origin or the game itself.
It did not help.
> I switched off the "graphic modus" in the "system settings" --> "energy". See picture (it is in Dutch) ---> "gfxCardStatus"
It did not help.
> I turned all the graphic settings in the game down to low, but it does not help.
It keeps crashing.
What i do find weird:
I can start a new game in single player - begin to build a city - have fun for an hour or two.
After that.. when the city is as big as the map that you can build on, it is getting into crash-mode.
When i have a huge city - that seems to be the problem. As if it needs to load too much graphics or whatever.
I run it on a:
Macbook Pro 2012
2,3 GHz Intel Core i7
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB
OSX El Capitain 10.11.6 (15G17023)
I read things about "running it on a Virtual Box": can someone tell me how to make that happen?
I downloaded Virtual Box. Installed it. But have no clue on how to "run" sim city on it.
Think that i need a few how-to's and then i'll be fine!
Thanks in advance!!
